Introduction
God signed a Peace Treaty with us, even while we were in rebellion.
The Peace Treaty has three main clauses; they are as follow: Peace, Joy and Hope.
Prince of Peace
Isaiah 9: 6: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Perfect Peace
Isaiah 26 3: You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
Peace Treaty with Sinners
Romans 5: 1 - 2: Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.
United in Peace
Colossians 3: 15: Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
Supernatural Power
Philippians 4: 6 - 7: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
The Giver of Peace
John 14: 27: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
