Isaiah 40:22. He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.
Genesis 1:31 - Genesis 2:1-3. God saw all that He had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning - the six day. Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work He had been doing; so on the Seventh day He rested from all His work. And God blessed the Seventh day and made it holy, because on it He rested from all the work of creating that He had done.
Genesis 3:19. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.
Bold and audacious: if it is possible for you alone to achieve then don’t ask God! Joshua was audacious because he had seen God working for his people. Joshua saw the parting of the red sea, manna from heaven, crossing of the Jordan on dry land, etc. According to the Bible, God has given us knowledge and discernment for a number of reasons, including: To help us understand what is right and wrong; Knowledge of God helps us understand what God expects of us, which deepens our convictions about right and wrong; To help us become better witnesses to God's glory; Knowledge of God helps us realize how holy He is, and how we should start to be good witnesses to His glory.
