As we are go through this life, there are things that gets attached to us so much so that we long to be rid of them. We try so, so many things to rid ourselves of them without success. Jesus has the answer though, just believe for He says my strength is made perfect in your weakness.

Stop following those thoughts that you can make it on your own, for they are not true! Only Jesus can save us, only He can heal!

The songwriter being moved by just how Great, Marvelous, wonderful forgiving and faithful and loving God has been over their life pens ‘God’s goodness keeps running after me’ which scripturally is so correct. Please understand that none of us can come to God except the Holy Spirit calls us. This He does based on His role in the Godhead ( Rom 8:25-27, John 16:7-14)
One good thing taken from the previous year is that with God time moves slowly, He is never late, never early. Trust Him

Chances are your plans for the next five years will have a reflection of money, power, health and other tangible and intangible ideas, but if God is not at the centre of your plans they are bound to fail.
The Psalmist declares that except the Lord builds the house, they that labour labour in vain.
Except the Lord charts our path, we are prone to failure and disappointment.
You don’t need to take my word for it.
Look at Psalm 19 and Psalm 24.

Your best is yet to come, don’t give up don’t give in. The gospel prophet moved by the Holy Spirit declares they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength! Isa 40:31 … Isa 60:22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

It is easy to trust God when all is going according to what you desire, but the true mark of faith is trusting God when you can’t see the way ahead.

The thing is, God says “before you call, I will answer and while you are speaking I will hear” Trust God’s heart.

Surrendering to the will of God is not giving up on your dreams (many believe this is so), however what it means is aligning your desire for success with He who knows what true success is, success! As a matter of fact, He says in the third letter of the apostle 3 John vs 2 He wish above all things that you prosper and be in good health! Whether you are sick, healthy rich or poor His thoughts towards you are borne out of genuine love.

Today I invite you to accept His invitation found in Isaiah 55 Ave a Christ centred day

Do you believe in Jesus? Are there times in our lives when things are not going well.
You are overwhelmed, you are stressed. But have no fear, Jesus is saying in Mark 16:16: Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
