Good day,

As the day breaks the rising sun caresses the dark of night away. The birds chirps, rooster crows, goat bleats and the animals of the earth acknowledge their creator Jesus Christ! Each day is blessed with many possibilities. God intends for all to comprehend the magnitude of His love.

Let us consider that battles were fought while we were sleeping and give Jesus the praise He deserves.

The times we live in are the times between Jesus Christ’s first and second coming. Although the power of the devil has been broken in principle through the birth, life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ to the right hand of God, he still wields considerable power here on earth. 

Indeed, the Bible can still refer to the devil as “the ruler of this world” John 14:30. This does not mean that he has all power over the world, for “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it” Psalm 24:1, but it does mean that he is the mighty prince of a spiritual regime of “evil rulers.

We live in a culture that places a lot of importance on holding rational beliefs based strictly on evidence. In his famous 1877 essay “The Ethics of Belief,” W.K. Clifford states that “it is wrong always, everywhere, and for anyone, to believe anything upon insufficient evidence.” Clifford’s essay is directed against all those who place value on faith and religious belief apart from evidence. Blessed is the man who believes but has not seen. Faith is not about what is seen,  it’s about confidence in what will be.  Have a great

A thought is just a thought until actioned which in turns become a deed. This deed if perpetuated becomes a habit that forms character over time. We are all known by our character it has been proven. If this is the case let us press on to good works. Let us day by day study God’s words, live as a child of God, tell others about Jesus for in good time our characters will be formed.

In the end our characters are what we will be judged by.

God at times frustrate your plans so that His will may be done. It is easy to question why, but based on Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Is there any reason to doubt God’s plan? Joseph was sold into Egypt as a slave, God used him to saved the then known world from starvation approximately eleven years later. 

What is your story, what are you frustrated about? 

Is it Job, finances, children, relationships?

Trust God for His ways are past finding out!

What a great privilege we have to know the One we trust. We can depend on God’s unfailing love and faithfulness towards us.  We can entrust the direction of our life into His hands.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–His good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2 NIV

Christians say all the time that they want to know the Will of God. They say that if only they knew God’s Will on a certain matter, then they would be willing to do it. It’s easy for us to say we want God’s Will, but it’s not nearly as easy to put ourselves in the position where we can discern God’s Will. Sometimes the Will of God stares us in the face and we are not able to recognize it for what it is. Sabbath blessings and have a great day.

As the birds flit about and whistles of gratefulness and worship punctuate the morning air, the animals all lift their worship to the Creator of all life.

Join all creation in thanking God for the night watch we passed through.

Today is going to be a good day, claim it by the power of God. Note not all days will be great days, but today whatever the day brings let us see the good in it. God’s hand guiding us, providing for us, protecting and securing us. 

Let us take a moment to say thank you Jesus for this new day. 

Many wished, planned desperately and confidently about today yet fell short of today. 

Praise God for His providence it is greatly understated, underrated and unappreciated.

How are you today?

Are you feeling restless or overwhelmed? Then maybe it is time to re-evaluate your schedule, tasks, and everything you are currently doing. Identify what comes from God and what doesn’t. Learning to say no is also important so that we don’t become overwhelmed.

Jeremiah 29:12

“Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”

Today take some time to pray to the Lord for direction in what you no longer know how to handle, ask him to show you where you should be and what commitments you should make. God wants to have a relationship with us, to talk to us, he wants to hear you. Take your dreams, plans and anxieties to him and you will find an answer.

Good morning.

“But as for you, be strong and courageous, for your work will be rewarded.” II Chronicles 15:7 NLT

Asa was king in Judah and the Bible tells us that he “did what was pleasing and good in the sight of the LORD his God” (II Chronicles 14:2). He removed all the altars and shrines of the foreign gods that were in the land and he called the people to worship the true God and obey His commands. Azariah encouraged him with the words of our verse for today. They are a prophetic message that reaches out beyond the time of Asa to our own time—the work of the people of God who remain strong and courageous will be rewarded. Have a great day.
