Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.” Revelation 21:1-3 NLT

There are a lot of stories in the Bible. Added together, they form one grand narrative. This narrative is not fictional, but true. If you were asked what the grand narrative is all about, you would have to say that it is all about God and His relationship to His creation. In effect, it is the story of everything, because there is nothing other than God and His creation. It begins in Genesis 1 with the story of God’s creation of heaven and earth and it ends here in Revelation 21 with the story of a new heaven and a new earth.

Have a great day.

So God created humans in his own image. He created them to be like himself. He created them male and female. God blessed them and said to them, “Have many children. Fill the earth and take control of it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the air. Rule over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Genesis 1:27-28 ERV

Who are we and what does it mean to be human? This is, obviously, one of the most important questions one could ever ask. Failure to answer it correctly can severely damage our lives by causing us to live in ways that are at odds with our true nature. The passages for today are meant to keep us from that. They tell us who we really are: creatures of God made in His image.

Have a great day.

Good day

Little is much when God is in it, Paul states he learned to be content in all things. We, day by day are, surrounded by the lure of the world and its influences.

We are taught to get as much as we can and by whatever means necessary. Self centered, unkind, uncaring and unloving is the end result. Jesus on the other hand asks us to share, to care, to love and to be kind to all especially the vulnerable …. that sounds a bit odd, however by doing this we will never have as much as those who think about themselves.

When we share from our little, Jesus keeps multiplying our little so that it never runs out.

Jesus is the only One who rubbishes the rule of never multiplying anything by zero. Ponder that fact! As His title declares He is the Creator! Little definitely is much when God is in it.

Good day,

Everybody likes to be important, whether you enjoy being by yourself or in a crowd, everybody likes to be acknowledged! This is a gentle reminder of the banquet coming up shortly to which you are invited. Whatever your status or bank account no need to worry. We are promised proper garments for this arrangement in 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 and no need to worry about location we will be going to a city where moonlight never shines! No metal detectors, no passport needed. Please ensure you plan for this day as it is coming upon this earth quite quickly!

O the person’s house to which we are going is God and Jesus our Redeemer will be the host!

Good day

At every turn we are bombarded by bad news. Whether it be bad news about health, family, work, relationships, finances we are surrounded by bad news! There is a silver lining though, good news actually. John 14:1-3 tells us that Jesus is gone to prepare a place for us and will come again and take us home from this sin cursed reality.

Have you heard of a break-in in heaven? There is none to report, Jesus promises that even death shall be destroyed when He comes again.

I am living for that day for it is impossible for God to lie and the heavens does declare the handiworks of God.

Good day

I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers! Isaiah 65:24

We all have been praying these last days for one thing or another truth be told. News alert!!!🚨 if you haven’t been praying that is another evidence of God’s faithfulness. We may be praying for financial provisions, for health, deliverance etc. Today be advised, based on Isaiah 65:24 God has answered your prayers already, He is just waiting on you to understand the assignment.

Good day,

Everybody needs somebody, the call of each heart beating is to have the love and consideration of another. The good old adage says “we should seek a friend before we need a friend” … in other words be a friend to someone before the time comes where we will need a friend! Did you know the bible offers guidance on seeking after God, the friend who sticks closer than a brother?

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:6-7

Good day

Chances are your plans for the next five years will have a reflection of money, power, health and other tangible and intangible ideas, but if God is not at the center of your plans they are bound to fail. The psalmist declares except the Lord builds the house, they that labour, labour in vain. Except the Lord charts our path we are prone to failure and disappointment. You don’t need to take my word for it look at Psalm 19 and Psalm 24.

Good morning

When the angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon, he said, “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior.”

“Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all his wonders that our ancestors told us about when they said, ‘Did not the LORD bring us up out of Egypt?’ But now the Lord has abandoned us and given us into the hand of Midian.”

The LORD turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?”

“Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.”

The LORD answered, “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive.”

 Judges 6:12-16 NIV.

Trust In God

Have a great and victorious day!

Good morning

Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. Ephesians 3:17 NLT

My people are destroyed because they have no knowledge. You priests have refused to learn, so I will refuse to let you be priests for me. You have forgotten the law of your God, so I will forget your children. Hosea 4:6 ERV

Hosea was a prophet who was called by God to symbolically illustrate the message he was called to give the people of the northern Kingdom of Israel. Since these people were living lives of spiritual adultery by worshipping other gods, Hosea was called to illustrate that fact by marrying a prostitute who subsequently committed adultery. The goal was to give the people some knowledge about their true spiritual state; the goal was to warn them that they were being destroyed (by the Assyrians) because the fail to identify their condition and repent.

Have a great day.
