The burden of Christ is light

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Matthew 11:28-30

How are you today?

Are you feeling restless or overwhelmed? Then maybe it is time to re-evaluate your schedule, tasks, and everything you are currently doing. Identify what comes from God and what doesn’t. Learning to say no is also important so that we don’t become overwhelmed.

Jeremiah 29:12

“Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”

Today take some time to pray to the Lord for direction in what you no longer know how to handle, ask him to show you where you should be and what commitments you should make. God wants to have a relationship with us, to talk to us, he wants to hear you. Take your dreams, plans and anxieties to him and you will find an answer.

God bless

Good morning.

“But as for you, be strong and courageous, for your work will be rewarded.” II Chronicles 15:7 NLT

Asa was king in Judah and the Bible tells us that he “did what was pleasing and good in the sight of the LORD his God” (II Chronicles 14:2). He removed all the altars and shrines of the foreign gods that were in the land and he called the people to worship the true God and obey His commands. Azariah encouraged him with the words of our verse for today. They are a prophetic message that reaches out beyond the time of Asa to our own time—the work of the people of God who remain strong and courageous will be rewarded. Have a great day.

Good day,

As the birds flit about and whistles of gratefulness and worship punctuate the morning air, the animals all lift their voices inworship to the Creator of all life. Join all creation in thanking God for the night watch we passed through.Today is going to be a good day, claim it by the power of God.      Note not all days will be great days, but today whatever the day brings let us see the good in it God’s hand guiding us, providing for us, protecting and securing us. Let us take a moment to say thank you Jesus for this new day. Many wished, planned desperately and confidently about today yet fell short of today.

Praise God for His providence is greatly understated, underrated and unappreciated.

Thank you Jesus for this new day

Have a Christ centered day

Good morning

Sometimes it takes only a prayer to change the trajectory of our lives! Sometimes it’s a mountain that God uses to get a hold of us.

This morning whether your mountain is physical or mental STOP and reevaluate your situation and ask Him to take care to your mountain! There isn’t a mountain too high that He can’t scale, a desert too dry that He can not sustain you through! You’ll never come to a valley too deep, no ocean too wide that He can’t cross! You may have to face all the obstacles above for Him to get a hold of you.

Today as you go, know that He is just a prayer away! The key to unlock heaven’s door is in your hands! Use it in season and out of season! Use it without ceasing! Remember no body can love you like Jesus! know too that I love you with all that I can.

God is good.

He’s in control of everything!

A great day awaits you!

Good day,

There is this scam that the devil pulls on every sinner. He pulls it on me, you, everyone that he can. He tells us we are too far gone, that the deeds are too wicked, that we have exhausted all our chances God will never forgive us. Jesus knew these tricks(lies ) even before we were born and encourage us to “come and reason with Him, though our sins may be red as scarlet He will make us white as snow! Isa 1:18 Furthermore 1John1:9 if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Sit at the feet of Jesus for there is where we find assurances of love fellowship, hope, deliverance and Salvation.

Tell the devil begone and remind him that his end is about to come.

Have a Christ centered day

Good day

Here is a tip when pointing others to Christ.

When you meet those, who, like Nathanael, are prejudiced against the truth, do not urge your peculiar views too strongly.

Talk with them at first of subjects upon which you can agree. Bow with them in prayer, and in humble faith present your petitions at the throne of grace. Both you and they will be brought into a closer connection with heaven, prejudice will be weakened, and it will be easier to reach the heart.. (Ev 446.2)

Allow the Holy Spirit to do His work and don’t try to be the dominant partner in this goal of soul winning for you or I cannot be God who convicts and change hearts.

Have a Christ centered day

Good morning

He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, placing them in seats of honor.

I Samuel 2:8 NLT

I Samuel 1 and 2 tells the story of Hannah. Chapter 1 tells us that Hannah had prayed to God with “deep anguish” while “crying bitterly.” She vowed that if God would give her a son she would give him back to the LORD.

When Eli the priest found out about her prayer he said, “. . . go in peace! May the God of Israel grant the request you have asked of Him,” and Hannah did find peace in his words and was no longer sad.

And the LORD did grant her request and she gave birth to Samuel.

Have a great day.

Good morning

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our LORD. Romans 6:23 NKJV

In Romans Chapter 6 the Apostle Paul contrasts the state of being a slave to sin with the state of being a slave to righteousness. Each state receives something.

Those who are “slaves to sin” are those who do not have faith in Jesus Christ as their personal LORD and Savior. They receive “wages” for their sin. This is a payment for the work they have done. Slaves to sin work at sin and receive a wage for their work as a result. Those who are “slaves to righteousness,” on the other hand, are those who have faith in Jesus Christ as their personal LORD and Savior. They do not receive a wage for their righteousness. Instead, they receive a gift. Slaves to righteousness receive a gift rather than a wage because they did not work for their righteousness. Their righteousness came to them simply by faith in Jesus Christ.

Have a great day.

Good day,

Thank God for the bright pictures which He has presented to us. Let us group together the blessed assurances of His love, that we may look upon them continually.

The Son of God leaving His Father’s throne, clothing His divinity with humanity, that He might rescue you and I from the power of Satan. His triumph on our behalf, opening heaven to you and I, revealing to human vision the presence chamber where the Deity unveils His glory.

Have a Christ centered day.

Good morning,

How awesome is our God.

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV

Did you know that those who are in Christ Jesus are righteous? The Apostle Paul says that we are “the righteousness of God.” Some may have a problem accepting this, because they are well aware of the sin that remains in their lives. Nevertheless, from God’s perspective they too are righteous.

The reason for this is that our acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior effectuated an exchange. He became sin for us, while we became His righteousness.

Have a great day.
