Good day
As a child there was nothing that I did that my mom didn’t know about. She would always say “ you can’t fool me!” Even when I thought I had gotten the best of her, gotten my way. I later found out; it was because she allowed it. How did she do that, how could she have known? Since I’ve become a parent, I found out. She studied my patterns, my likes, dislikes, what brought joy, what brought pain. All of this because of her love for me, she wanted to ensure, she was there for me.

In a similar fashion we at times behave as if we can “con “ God. We behave as if God is ignorant to or thoughts and blind to our deeds. God who design mothers and gave love as an extraordinary attribute, is far above what we think or believe. Indeed, He says in  Ecclesiastes 8:11 ‘Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil’.
His love towards us is unimaginable incomparable, which is why the devil encourages us to trample on it. He has no delight in the destruction of the wicked, He is long-suffering not willing that any should perish but all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
