Welling Seventh Day Adventist Church

Procrastination

Good day, procrastination
The greatest enemy of the christian’s walk is not the devil (we blame the devil for things we of our own volition do sometimes), not our neighbours, family or friends, not money and/or the lack of it.
The greatest enemy to the christian’s development is procrastination! We are prompted by the Spirit to study the bible… we get sidetrack with a call so tomorrow we do it, we are urged by the Holy Spirit to make a call to someone because they came up in our thoughts… we say we will do it later. Later comes we never get it done. We promised that we are going to develop a study schedule, where we spend time with God… we put it off for tomorrow, as if we can determine to be in tomorrow!
Today … now, while we have the time pray through Philippians 4:13 and claim that promise that whatever it is we can do it now through Jesus who gives us strength.
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone
Be bless!
P.s you argue it’s the devil who gives these distractions, but how often have we made resolutions (especially New year) only to put it off till the next year?
Have a Christ centered day
