Good Morning

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? ‘And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV

This is one of the scariest passages in the Bible. It’s scary because it teaches that there are people who say Jesus is Lord and do right things but are not known by him because they didn’t have a relationship with Jesus. It’s scary because if someone who prophesies, drives out demons, and performs wonders can’t make it into Christ’s Kingdom, then what hope is there for the rest of us if we fail to obey God?
