Good day,
A nation, a people, a community, a home divided against itself cannot stand. It’s a sobering truth. It’s even more sobering to realize that those at the Tower of Babel, though in rebellion against God, nearly achieved their goal but not through artificial intelligence or advanced technology, but simply because they were one.
Jesus prayed in John 17:21 that we would be one, just as He and the Father are one. But what does oneness really look like?
In the book of Acts, we see a powerful picture of this, a community of believers transformed by their unity in Christ. They worshiped together daily, shared their possessions freely, and placed others above themselves. Their unity wasn’t superficial; it was Spirit empowered and selfless.
What if we allowed the Holy Spirit to unite us in this time?
What if we gave without expecting anything in return?
What if we looked at everyone as a candidate for heaven, a child of God?
When we are united, the world sees Jesus every time they see us.
