Good day,
Isiaah 55:5 reminds us to seek the Lord while He may be found and call upon Him while He is near. It is the custom for many to believe that it is only when one is on their deathbed that the Lord becomes necessary, only when diagnosed with terminal illness, only after a deadly accident that claim lives and theirs were spared or they walk away from an accident ‘without a scratch’ by the providence of God… they believe that is when God is their friend, to be focused on. Now, let me be clear; walking away fro0m an accident or by divine intervention being prevented from being in one is a sitting down moment and re-evaluation of priorities in life, BUT so is seeing a new day, having good health, being in a secured job, being able to eat and many more.
God is saying from the opening quote that we must seek Him while we are able bodied, seek Him while we enjoy the good times, seek Him when all is well, for it is in these times we train ourselves to always look to the hills from whence cometh our help. We will know that our help, all that we have cometh from the Lord!
