His Character

Good day,
As a child, I often heard people who knew my father say, “Bwoy, yuh dead stamp a yuh puppa!” — meaning I was the spitting image of him. Whether in looks or actions, they would say, “That’s exactly what your father would do!
In the same way, God desires that when others see us, they see His character in us. He wants us to live in such a way that those around us can say, “That was an act of love, kindness, and faithfulness — that had to be God working through them!” Our lives should reflect the God we worship.
Character is formed by repeated habits, and some habits — if not surrendered to Jesus — can take a lifetime or even cost a life to break. That’s why it’s so important to be mindful of the habits we nurture.
Today, let’s remember: the character of God revealed in John 3:16 includes love, patience, faithfulness, and truth. As we allow Christ to live through us, may others see His image reflected in us — and may He rejoice to see His character shining in His children.
Have a Christ centred day.
