Deuteronomy 5: 27: “Go near and listen to all the LORD our God says. Then tell us whatever the LORD our God tells you. We will listen and obey.”

1 Samuel15: 22: But Samuel replied: “Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.”

Luke 11: 27 - 28: As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.” He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

John 14:15: “If you love me, keep my commands.”

Acts 5:29: Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings!

Romans 6:16 - 17: Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey - whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness. But thanks be to God that, although you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance.

Hebrews 5: 7 - 9: During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him
