You prepare your Curriculum Vitae (CV), also known as your Resumè, and update it from time to time as you gain more job experience and qualifications. A person’s past experiences can provide evidence his/her suitability for a job and are strong indicators of their performance in the job that they were selected for. Strange as this may sound, we “interview and question” GOD over and over again in order to decide if He can be selected to guide us, sustain us and, direct our path now and in the future. So what would you look for, for example, in God’s Curriculum Vitae? The Holy Scriptures, God’s inspired words, say that God is: Exalted on high; The source of justice and righteousness; The righteous judge; Lawgiver, Judge and King; Confidence giver, Source of stability; The source of our salvation, true wisdom, and knowledge. As you examine God’s Resumè: His Holy Scriptures - The Bible, I hope and pray that you will be satisfied that He qualifies to be the LORD of your life.
