Bible Verses for week commencing 7 April 2024.

Introduction

What does God’s Redemptive Plan look like?

God’s great plan of Redemption was implemented. This Redemptive Plan was put in place to cover everyone’s sins and it is called the Grace of Jesus Christ. This Plan is not based on justice but mercy; without it all stand condemned but, with it, all have eternal life.

Theme

Jesus has fixed it for us!

Sunday

Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light of life and be satisfied, by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life with the transgressors. For he bore the sins of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Isaiah 53:10-12.

Matthew 28:18-20.

Mark 13:10.

After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no-one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the lamb.”

Revelation 7:9-10.

Conclusion

Thank you God, our Father, for reconciling us to you, through the substitutionary death of your Son, Jesus Christ.
