Bible Verses for week commencing 24 March 2024.

Introduction

There are thirty nine (39) books in the Old Testament and for week commencing the 24 March 2024, I would like to look at one verse from each of the thirty nine books of the Old Testament, for The Pre-incarnate Jesus, The Angel of God, The Messiah, The Prince of Peace, Emmanuel, God with us, a King and Priest, Commander of the Lord’s Army.

This review is by no means exhaustive and you will find many more prophecies and Christophanies of the Messiah in the Old Testament.

Note: Please note that for this review I am only looking at the Old Testament.

Sunday

Christ’s birth and suffering prophecied: See Genesis 3:15.

Messiah from the Tribe of Judah.

Wednesday

 The mocking of Christ the promised Messiah.

Wisdom from God brightens you and changes your appearance.

Christ and His love

for His church.

The Lord Himself will give you a sign: the Virgin will give birth to Son.

Thursday

His compassions never fail.

Christ the Shepherd would be a descendant of David.

Friday

The earth darkened in broad daylight (eclipse) during the Messiah’s crucifixion.
