Why We Pray

At Welling SDA Church, we believe prayer is powerful. Jesus began His mission in prayer. His disciples, too, waited and prayed in the upper room before stepping into their calling (Acts 1). Prayer is where the mission begins, and where we find strength, clarity, and peace.

Our Prayer Ministry plays a vital role in both disciple-making and community building, helping us stay connected to God and each other.

In Person – Drop your request in our Prayer Box at church. Your prayer requests will be prayed for during Wednesdays prayer meetings and at fasting and prayer. This request remains confidential, and you do not have to put your name on the request.
