Good day,
Sometimes we are distressed because of experiences we never anticipated. Perhaps we recognized, at least in thought, that such trials could occur but we never truly expected them to affect our own lives. When they do, our hearts can feel unsettled and unprepared.
Yet there is comfort when we pause, check our hearts, and choose hope. There is strength when we are honest before God, because He who inhabits eternity steps into time for us. (Full quote is in Isaiah 57:15) Whatever He does, Jesus always has our best interest at heart.

This declaration in Revelation 1:8 is so inspiring and reassuring, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
He is before us, charting our path to victory.
He is behind us, establishing and securing our foundation.
He is beside us, comforting, healing, and coaching us.
What a mighty God we serve!
