Many opines it is better to get all that one can before surrendering their life to Jesus, because no one knows what tomorrow holds. God help those who help themselves they say…. Now in context God work with those who trust Him to work it out and follow after, not before Him!
God guides us on our walk with Him. He says “ he that cometh to God must believe that He is and is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him”. Hebrews 11:6 This means that Your tomorrow is in His hands, Your today belongs to Him too. Why place all your efforts into perishable things, seek the things which are above.
O, please understand that following God doesnt make one poor, rather riches in this life and in the life to come, eternal life. Mark 10:29-30
