Good day,
It’s the habit of many to think happiness will be found in people, place or job. The mindset is that they think that they will be happy if they get the job they deserve or happiness will be found in that person who tickles and massages their proverbial fancies. If they were ever be taken to, or found themselves in this region of the world oh what joy! Sadly after acquiring the dream they so desperately chase after,the outcome is sadness, boredom, loneliness (even with their dream lover) emptiness and wealth beyond measure, but they are poor in spirit. Happiness isnt found in material posessions.
The words of our Creator states plainly with a frank question, What does it profits a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul or what will a man give in exchange for his soul Mark 8:36.
There is also comfort, joy and peace in the presence of the Lord. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. See also Psalm 16:11 and John 14:27.
