Good day,

No one likes hearing, You can’t have this, or Not yet. None of us enjoys having something we desire withheld. Yet the God we serve knows exactly when to give and when to hold back. His timing is always perfect, even when we do not understand it.
As we reflect on the goodness of God today, do not let this opportunity pass without saying, Thank You. Thank Him because It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. Great is Thy faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22–23.
Hold up your hand and take a moment to examine it. Consider its remarkable design and function. We are not the product of chance; we are the work of an intelligent Creator. Place both hands gently over your ears and you will hear the vibrations of your own body—a constant reminder of the incredible way God has made us. Truly, we are fearfully and wonderfully made. As the psalmist declared:
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14
God’s goodness is continually on display. Even when people choose to follow idols and go their own way, God continues to preserve their lives. In His mercy, He patiently calls them back to Himself.
Perhaps you have remained on the path, but you may know someone who has wandered. Encourage them to return to the loving hand of the One who created the heavens and the earth—the One whose goodness is always on display.
