Good day,
Medicine has advanced phenomenally over time. Today, there are cures for many illnesses that would have been fatal hundreds of years ago. Technology, too, has leapt forward so much so that recently a doctor was able to perform surgery on a patient from miles away using a robot. Incredible and amazing!
Yet, these accomplishments pale in comparison to what took place over 2,000 years ago, when a woman was healed simply by touching the hem of a garment—healed because of her FAITH.
How do you explain the account of the three Hebrew men who were thrown into a fiery furnace heated seven times hotter than normal? The soldiers who threw them in died from the flames, yet the three men were untouched, not even a strand of their hair was singed. And then, the king saw four men walking in the fire, and one looked like the Son of God. This was long before Jesus physically came to earth.
This is not to downplay or ridicule the incredible advancements of science and technology. Rather, it is to highlight that there is One who was performing wonders long before modern discoveries. One who needs no training from any prestigious institution because He is the Creator Himself.
He stands at the door of our hearts, knocking, offering an invitation unlike any other you will ever receive. So, if you’re wondering how to pay the next bill or if you’re feeling depressed or stressed, Jesus is the answer. Accept His invitation and you will never be the same. “Jesus is the answer for the world today…”
