Revelation 3:16: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm - neither hot nor cold - I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

Theme Bible Verses for week commencing Sunday, 11 May 2025
Theme: What temperature are you?
Revelation 3:20: Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
Matthew 21:22: If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
Hebrews 11:5-6: By Faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Luke 5:32: I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Revelation 3:19: Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent.
Ephesians 3:20-21: Ephesians 3:20-21: Now to him who is able to do immeasurable more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
He could knock at any time; what temperature will He find His Church registering! Jesus is outside the professing church, politely knocking, waiting to be allowed in; similarly every person is lord of his/her own house and it is their prerogative as to whether they will open up their hearts to receive Him.
