The main aim of our children’s ministry is to teach children about the love of Jesus Christ. Also, to develop children’s knowledge of the Bible, skills and talents so that they can confidently go out and spread God’s Word. We endeavour to achieve this in a number of different ways.
Sabbath school lessons take place from 10:00 – 11:00am every Saturday morning.
11:00 – 11:30am the children come together for singing practise for the up-and-coming Children’s Days.
We have six classes which cater from babies up to young adults.
Every Sabbath, as part of Divine Service, all the children come together and are told a story either based on the Bible or which teach Biblical moral values to support their Christian development.
Every last Sabbath in the quarter, Thirteenth Sabbath, the children from each class will recite memory verses in the main church that they have learnt during the quarter.
About four times a year, the whole Divine Service is conducted by the children. They sing, pray, tell the story, read scriptures, lead out in song service as well as preach the sermon. This a wonderful opportunity for the children to develop their talents and a range of skills.
Once a month, the children have the opportunity to develop their musical talents by performing the special item in Divine Hour
