Introduction

When we receive Christ Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we have the privilege to be born again and become God’s children, and, an assured place in His kingdom. The privileges and benefits are:

(i) You have authority.

(ii) You are now sons and daughters of an amazing Father: God Almighy is your Papa.

(iii) The designer and creator of the universe is your Father.

(iv) You can be assured of your standing before God, because of Christ Jesus.

Sunday

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

I and the Father are one.

John 10:29-30.

Monday

For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Romans 8:15-16.

Tuesday

For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will.

Ephesians 1:4-5.

Wednesday

You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptised into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

Galatians 3:26-27.

Thursday

Because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

Romans 8:14.

Friday

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be firstborn among many brothers.

Romans 8:28-29.

Saturday

Do not conform any longer to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Romans 12:2.

Conclusion

There are essentially two categories of people in this world: you are either object of God’s judgment because of your sin, or, you are a forgiven child of God, Most High, and, thus an inheritor of God’s grace and mercy.
