Grace for the Journey
Good day,
How often do we give up on things because we believe they will never come to fruition? How often do we subject ourselves, and even others, to the mental torture of what we perceive as failure?
Remember, and never forget: not every flower blooms at the same time. A pineapple takes longer to mature than, say, a bunch of bananas.
What I am driving at is this: your time to bloom may be different from someone else’s, but it is the same God who woke you up this morning who will come through for you!
If He can give the sea an order and it obeys, then surely our little “edibidi” concerns will also bring forth blooms of joy if we are willing to wait.
Don’t try to skip the line. God never fails. Don’t just take my word for it; go and ask the woman with the issue of blood. Twelve years was not too long for Jesus!
In His time the Lord will make it happen. Isaiah 60:22
Just trust Him.
Have a Christ-centred day.
