Good day

An old Jamaican proverb goes like this: “When trouble tek yuh, baby chut fit yuh.” (When you are in trouble, even a baby’s clothes will fit you, meaning you will do the impossible in a desperate moment.)

It is usually spoken solemnly and often used as words of wisdom. However, most times it is said when describing how we escape trouble or something dangerous. I can remember a few moments like that in my own life, and I have heard others recount similar experiences. The truth is, in those moments it was Jesus.

The psalmist says: “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.”
Psalm 91:11–12 KJV

God has always been taking care of us, even before we said yes to Him. The fact is, He has nurtured us so that we can tell others of His love, His mercy, and His soon coming. Now is not the time to be silent.
