Bible Verses for week commencing Sunday, 29 October 2023
Introduction: God’s identity is expressed not just in one name but in many. For example, Aleph (Alef) and Tav (the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet) can represent Jesus of the Ancient (Old) Testament; likewise Alpha and Omega (first and last letters of the Greek alphabet) can be shown to represent Jesus of the New Testament. Some other names for God are given below in the Theme.
