for it was You who created my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. Every human being was created to be Christ’s image bearer and to live a fulfilled life for an amazing and unique purpose. Fearful in this context does not mean to be literally scared or afraid. We were created in the image of God, by a God who continues to have great interest in us; to be unique with a God given purpose. (See Psalm 139:13-14). While we wait for the blessed hope – the glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
